Traffic Volume Counts (Junctions, Mid-blocks, and Cordon Locations):

  • Conducted at junctions, mid-blocks, and cordon locations to capture overall traffic flow.
  • Video footage will be classified by vehicle type (cars, buses, trucks, two-wheelers, etc.) as per project requirements.
  • Counts will be carried out manually by our team to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Data will be used for traffic flow analysis, congestion assessment, and infrastructure planning.

ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) Survey:

  • ANPR cameras are primarily used for on-street and off-street parking studies, and also for traffic volume counts when required.
  • Cameras capture vehicle license plates to record entry, exit, and movement patterns.
  • Data helps determine parking duration, turnover rates, and vehicle classification.
  • Also assists in monitoring traffic flow, origin–destination studies, and enforcement analysis.

Pedestrian Survey:

  • Conducted to monitor pedestrian movements at crossings, intersections, or public areas.
  • Video footage or manual counts will record pedestrian flow, direction, and crossing behavior.
  • Data will be categorized by time intervals and peak periods.
  • Supports planning of pedestrian facilities, safety improvements, and walkway design.

Parking Studies:

  • Undertaken to assess parking demand, occupancy, duration, and turnover.
  • Surveys include both on-street and off-street locations, using video recording or manual observation.
  • Each vehicle’s entry and exit time will be recorded and classified by type.
  • Results help determine parking adequacy, pricing policies, and management strategies.

Manual Surveys:

  • Data collected through direct observation, interviews, or questionnaire-based surveys.
  • Used for collecting travel behavior, trip purpose, or qualitative transport information.
  • Conducted by trained surveyors to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Complements automated data collection to provide comprehensive insights.
